my top 10 favorite movies

1. Avatar

millions say it’s awesome. other millions say it’s awful. other millions say it’s ridiculous. other millions haven’t seen it. and other millions are in love with it. well i’m one of them, and i don’t care what the others say i would love this movie if i were the only one. i love how the Na’vi nation cares about nature, and how they respect other creatures, i love the way they live their lives, and i love Pandora i wish i could live there too :)

2. The Hangover

this is the most epic comedy i’ve ever seen in my life, i love every minute of it :D i love that there are different characters in it and the jokes are amazing too! the greatest thing is that we can’t see that night ‘they will never forget’ but while they’re searching Doug, we learn everything :D MASTERPIECE, i must say.

3. Lord Of The Rings trilogy

the books are better though, but i love the movies! the story gives me goosebumps every time. i love the fight scenes, you really believe they are fighting for their homes, they want to protect it even if they will die. and i have to say that the elves are so beautiful, even the male ones.

4. Mirrors

this is my favorite horror, although at the beginning the story is quite slow and maybe boring a bit, but the end is just shocking! it’s mysterious for me and after i first watched it i couldn’t think of anything but this movie.

5. Donnie Darko

i must confess i had to watch it at least 3 times to understand the whole movie, but there is no doubt that it was a love at first sight. i love Donnie’s character, he is weird and no one understands him, he has to live with this. but when he finds a girl who he falls in love with he realizes that he has to do EVERYTHING for her. the film is scary, deep, weird and sad at the same time. not to mention the amazing turns caused by the time travelling.

6. Requiem For A Dream

this is the best drug movie i’ve seen. we can see two different stories of becoming a drug addict, it shows how dangerous it is to abuse drugs, and to take pills you don’t exactly know (although a doctor gave them to you). Harry became a drug addict because of himself, but i feel sorry for him just like for his mother who became addict by not realizing it. she just wanted to wear her red dress again, to bring back good memories.

Jared Leto’s best acting i must say.

7. The Devil Wears Prada

i love this movie, it’s funny how Miranda gives harder and harder challenges to Andy, who wants to do everything because they said she can get every job by staying at Runway for one year. and the most ridiculous thing is that she doesn’t even want the job, she doesn’t look like the others at Runway (at the beginning). the story is also instructive: be yourself, because your job is not as important as the people you love, and if you change the might not love you anymore because you won’t be the same person as you used to be.

8. Unleashed

the actors are great, the story is awesome, how a ‘wild man’ becomes gentle, and realizes that his ‘owner’ (if i can say that) just exploits him. i can’t say more of this film, go and watch if you haven’t seen it :)

9. Death Becomes Her

well, i think it’s not a well known movie, because i asked hundreds of people and no one knew it. i don’t know why, it’s funny, awesome and bizarre-you should feel sorry for Madeline and Helen but you just laugh at them at the end :D

10. Sweeney Todd

well, this is too bloody for me as i thought at first, but i love it so much! lightly, you see Sweeney/Benjamin as a murderer, but he is just a poor, devastated man whose life was destroyed by the judge. and he is the evil in the story, although Sweeney is the one who kills almost every people in the street. but we can see a bit of goodness in him, there’s a scene when he doesn’t kill the man because his wife and child is there, too. this proves he has a heart. a broken heart.

that is all, i hope you liked it, but i must confess that from the 2nd one it wasn’t in order :D it depends on my mood what films i like more, so i know that tomorrow i’d write them in different order. but no doubt that these are my top 10 favorite movies :)
